Welcome to the 2023-24 school year!
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for choosing me as a partner in your child's education. As homeschooling parents, I know you love your children beyond words and that you work hard to provide the best possible educational experiences for them. I am honored to be able to walk alongside you in this small way. Start Date As a reminder, our classes start on September 5. Supplies The only classes that are asked to bring additional supplies are the High School and Gym Classes. High School Class: Please bring a one inch three-ring binder with loose leaf paper as well as your preferred writing utensil. This binder will go back and forth between class and home each week. If you find a binder that you really love or already have one and it's bigger than one inch, that is totally fine. Gym Class: Please wear tennis shoes each week and bring a water bottle. Location I've been getting my feet wet in our new classroom space this summer through some classes and tutoring and I am totally loving it! I can't wait to house our classes there this year!! For those who haven't yet been on site, see the attached "map" to help you find us within the shops behind the Dutch Village. There are also some yard signs onsite to help guide you. Shoes Our preschool and elementary-aged friends are accustomed to taking off their shoes during class as we get comfy on the floor and try to keep our learning space a little cleaner (just like at home!). High Schoolers, don't worry, I have tables and chairs for you. Pick-Up Parents, it has seemed to work well in the past to have you wait outside the door at the end of class, so I hope to continue that routine in this new space. We can also see how it works if I need to visually or physically track your kids as they walk towards the parking lot on their own to come find you. There is parking to the east and west of our classroom so I would just need to make sure I know whose parents have parked where. Payment Payment reminders will be sent out throughout the year based on the payment option you chose during registration. For those who registered as part of a partnership program, look for your reimbursement via your original payment method hopefully sometime in October once the districts have paid me. Enrollment What started with one class the fall of 2021 has now grown to about ten classes for the fall of 2023. I can't tell you how much that means to me! Thank you all so much for your support and continued enrollment! There are a few spots left here and there for next year - thank you for your word-of-mouth support as I try to fill those final spots!
