2026-2027 School Year
Fine Arts: Art, Music and Nature
Grades K-6
*Mondays 11:00am-12:00pm
*Cost for the entire school year is $300 per student, plus a $25 materials/administrative fee.
*A minimum number of students is needed to fulfill this class.
*Students will focus on one artist, composer, and naturalist each semester. This hour-long class consists of twenty-minute segments in each topic. During artist study, students will study a curated selection of the artist's work. They will learn to identify the artist's style and recreate his art. In composer study, students will develop listening skills and learn musical terms as they hear the chosen composer's pieces. Finally, students will study the life and work of one naturalist. Through guided object lessons, students will learn to make observations about the natural world like a naturalist does.
*This class will be conducted in English. Art and Music are the languages of the soul.

*There is a non-refundable $25 materials/administrative fee per student per year.
*Payment is required upon enrollment. You may pay in full or pay half now with the remainder due on/by December 1, 2026.
*For families participating in a homeschool partnership program, there is a payment option for that as well. You will need to pay the materials/administrative fee out-of-pocket to hold your family's spot(s). Estrellas Language Academy will then bill the partnership program for the course cost on your behalf. For the purpose of this Fine Arts Class, we are partnered with Hamilton and Grand Haven.

This Fine Arts Class will follow mostly the same calendar as our Spanish Classes:
*First Day of Class: week of September 14, 2026
*Last Day of Class: week of April 26, 2027
*Thanksgiving Break: No classes the week of November 23.
*Christmas Break: December 14 - January 1
*Spring Break: April 5-9
